Email App Error Mac

Add or remove email accounts in Mail on Mac. Use the Mail app to send, receive, and manage email for all of your email accounts in one location. Simply add the accounts—such as iCloud, Exchange, Google, school, work, or other—you want to use in Mail. For the Mac user, email apps are especially important for security and workflow. This list will enlighten the Mac user to the best email apps out there. Each app has a unique feature to consider. In Mac Mail, the emails download/sync then gives the error: 'Mail was unable to open this mailbox on the server “imap-mail.outlook.com”. The server returned the error: Select Command is not permitted in current state (NotAuthenticatedServerError)' With Outlook 2016 for Mac, the mail will sync then stop for a couple of hours and then begin. Oct 31, 2020 I just sent two emails instead of one email using Mac Mail in order to split up the eight recipients. My assumption is that there is a bug with my version and installation Mac Mail (version 9.3 / 3124). Again, my ISP allows for 130 recipients, and I can send email to eight or more recipients with my ISP's email software.

Mail App Error

Hi. Today one of my customers said that he could not connect to his IMAP mailbox after adding it to the Mail app on Mac OS High Sierra.
I double checked every setting on this application (via TeamViewer) including TLS/SSL and IMAP/SMTP ports, to no avail. Also tried connecting non securely. It simply says it cannot verify the username and password. And the weird thing is: the Outlook app on mobile can connect just fine.
But here's a thing that might shed a light on this: Outlook 2016 on Windows was able to connect effortlessly, but only after throwing an INVALID CERTIFICATE error. That certificate says it was issued to 'serverhost.serverdomain.com' (my hostname and domain of course) while I'm connecting to 'mail.customerdomain.com', so obviously there is a mismatch - even though Cpanel correctly issued and installed an SSL certificate to 'mail.customerdomain.com'.
So, how do I resolve this?
